Development Assistant


Established in 1973, Asian Americans for Community Involvement (AACI) is Santa Clara County’s largest non-profit health and human service organization targeting Asian and Pacific Islander American communities. We are seeking qualified candidates to fill this full time position.

Job Summary: Under the direction of the Development Director, the Development Assistant is responsible for assisting with implementation of the agency’s Development and Marketing Plan. Duties include administrative support, data entry, donation acknowledgement, coordinating agency tours, collateral production, media and public relations, program development, fundraising and outreach.


Qualifications:

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, writing, and verbal communication skills.

2 to 4 years administrative office experience, preferably as part of a development department or in a non-profit office environment

Experience with basic fundraising concepts.

Strong computer/internet skills, including Microsoft Office applications.

Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge strongly preferred, experience with any donor database system a plus

Aptitude for working on a team and interest in the Asian American communities.

BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.

Experience in quality control processes a plus

Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Able to work under pressure in a fast paced, dynamic work environment

好煮意

昨晚跟史先生去吃好煮意
我點了鮮蝦雲吞麵
史先生點了四寶燒臘飯

史先生說
他的會先來
因為燒臘通常都已經好了
只要切一切擺盤

沒想到話一說完
我的鮮蝦雲吞麵就來了….哈哈

將江~

原本很興奮趕快禱告要吃麵
沒想到吃第一口就覺得……為什麼不好吃阿??
整碗麵吃下來
麵沒味道
湯不怎麼樣, 而且又少
雲吞普普
讓我真失望.......

一會史先生的四寶飯來了

這盤要快九塊
可是怎麼肉都少少幾塊而已呀
史先生覺得還不錯
我覺得ok啦
吃完我的麵 ,其他東西都變好吃了

最讓我覺得特別的是那個滷蛋味道很特別
我覺得好像加了五香粉?

今天跟同事聊到好煮意
結果她說 最近不要去吃, 因為他們換了主廚, 東西沒以前好吃了…..
難到就是因為這樣, 我那碗麵才那麼難吃嗎??!! /__\
不然 , 我跟史先生第一次去吃時, 我們點的粥跟紅喀哩都超好吃的咧 !

雞蛋仔

星期五去教會前覺得晚餐沒吃飽

想說去買杯jamba喝

車子停在快可立門口

然後就被他們海報吸引到

買了什麼呢?

就是我手中這個雞蛋仔

還不是普通的雞蛋仔喔

這是巨無霸雞蛋仔

我拿到時嚇一跳

怎麼那麼大

我手中的還是左右摺一半放到紙袋裡的

這麼大一個雞蛋仔只賣三塊多

感覺很划算

而且也很好吃喔

雞蛋仔本身很實

外面脆脆

好吃 ~

今天早上醒來
外面天空感覺很陰涼
出門後發現, 還真的有點涼涼的

為什麼這樣呀?!

明明已經是夏天了
確有秋天的感覺
不過這樣也好
八九十度的夏天實在是好燙呀 ~

卸妝

因為怕長雀斑
所以我愛用防曬品
從剛開始接觸的SPF15
到中期開始用SPF 25 ~ 30
現在是最好有SPF 40 ~ 50  (完全是擦安心的)

因為SPF變高了
覺得光用洗面乳好像洗不乾淨
所以也養成洗臉前會用卸妝品擦一次

這兩罐是我覺得還滿好用的

Clinique 的 Take The Day Off Makeup Remover For Lids, Lashes & Lips
這罐是油水兩層的, 所以使用前需要搖一搖

左邊是Origins 的 Well Off

我覺得Clinique的洗淨力比較強
因為拿來擦 Fasio這隻睫毛膏時, 還可以洗掉一咪咪咪咪咪咪
如果用Origisns的 Well Off, 睫毛膏還是聞風不動的黏在睫毛上

可是溫和度來說, 是Origins比較優
因為卸完防曬, 打清水準備洗臉時
如果是用Clinique那罐, 眼睛碰到會有點刺痛
可是如果用Origins那罐, 不適感就少很多

價錢上是Origins勝
它容量多了一點, 價錢確比Clinique少一些

嗯....比較完畢

West San Jose to be sprayed for West Nile mosquitoes

A big chunk of West San Jose will be fogged late at night July 13 because mosquitoes trapped in the area have tested positive for the West Nile virus.

The Santa Clara County Vector Control District said it plans to fog the surrounding area for several hours starting at 11 p.m. July 13.

"We have every indication that West Nile virus is very active at this time," said acting district manager Russ Parman. He said residents in the area should take precautions to avoid being bitten during the holiday weekend.

The area to be ground-fogged is bordered by Pruneridge Avenue and Hedding Street on the north, Saratoga Avenue on the west, Interstate 880 on the east, and Payne Avenue on the south, the district said. It is distributing information packets in the area next week.

An open house information meeting will be held Friday at the Asian Americans for Community Involvement Community Center, Room 210, 2400 Moorpark Ave., from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

The district advised people to prevent mosquito breeding by draining and dumping standing water and checking flowerpots and faucets for leaks. People in the area should limit outdoor activities during dawn and dusk, and when outdoors, wear mosquito repellent, the district advised.

There have been no human cases of the West Nile virus confirmed this year in Santa Clara County.

The virus can cause mild to severe flulike symptoms including fever, headache and body ache, and in severe cases it can cause neurological symptoms or even death, the district said. Particularly vulnerable are those older than 50 and people with high blood pressure.
